and an eye toward the future
In 1922, a group of prominent business men in San Bernardino purchased the property bounded by 30th Street, Parkside, Parkdale and Valencia Avenue.
In 1923, a nine-hole golf course was constructed with sand greens.
In 1924, the course was expanded to 18 holes with grass greens.
In 1927, re-construction of the course was started under the direction of Billie Bell, one of the country’s top architects.
In June of 1928, the construction was completed.
Arrowhead Country Club has been a historical landmark in the San Bernardino community since its incorporation. The property is a hidden gem with magnificent vistas of the San Bernardino Mountains and has been a memory-maker for families for nearly 70 years.
